How do I redeem my Gold Bonus Points for free travel?
Gold Bonus Points can be redeemed for as much of your trip as you want, up to 100%. Every 500 Gold Bonus Points represents $5. Decide how many Gold Bonus Points you would like to redeem and use your CIBC Gold VISA card to pay the difference. To find out your current Gold Bonus Points Balance, click here.

All of it, if you like! You can use up to 100% of your Gold Bonus Points to redeem travel.

How do I find out my Gold Bonus Points balance?
You can check your Gold Bonus Points balance 3 ways:

What are Double Gold Bonus Points?
Double Gold Bonus Points are points you receive in addition to the regular Gold Bonus Points you collect when you make a travel purchase on your CIBC Gold VISA card through the CIBC VISA Travel Service. Double Gold Bonus Points will be awarded on travel purchases before taxes, service charges and personal expenses.

When does the Double Gold Bonus Points offer expire?
It doesn’t! Double Gold Bonus Points is a new feature that has been added to your CIBC Gold VISA Card every time you make a travel purchase from the CIBC VISA Travel Service.

Will I receive Double Gold Bonus Points for online bookings?
Yes! Online bookings are treated exactly the same as all other travel bookings.
